The doors are always open for you to pop in and join in with one of our services or activities and you will always be welcomed.
Our Church Worship Services
We meet at 10.30 am and 6.30 pm on Sundays. The services usually last about 1 hour and are led by our minister, Rev Alistair Jones.
The morning service includes a children's talk and during the service the youngsters go to their Sunday School class, with a creche facility available for the very young.
After the evening service, tea and coffee is served free in our foyer and the chance to chat with friends old and new.
**********Please Note - during half term week - Monday 13 February to Saturday 18 February 2012 - there will be no meetings in the church building due to building repair works! ********
The Monday Group
The church is open every Monday from 2.00pm till 4.00pm for anyone to come along for chat and company. It's a chance to make new friends and, for those who wish, to take part in some craftwork.On the third Monday of each month a light lunch is provided at the earlier start time of 12.30pm.
Women's Own
We are a group of ladies, of all ages, who meet each Monday at 7.15 pm to praise God and learn together more about His love for us. We have different speakers each week who share with us from the Bible. We also have special meetings throughout the year to celebrate different things. All ladies (of any age) are welcome.
After the meeting, which usually lasts about an hour, we have tea and biscuits, giving time for a chat.
Note: Women's Own will start again in the New Year on 9th January with our Motto message for 2012, "......at His feet......".
Brownies & Guides
We meet on a Tuesday evening, Brownies at 6.00 pm and Guides at 7.30 pm. We're part of the Guide Association and enjoy activities together, including going to camp. Some of our girls made the banners that hang in the church.
Recently three of the Guiding Leaders were awarded with Long Service Awards. Congratulations ladies and thank you for all your hard work! See the Gallery for some pictures!
Line Dancing
No experience necessary! A chance for fun and exercise. We meet at 10.00 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays and anybody is welcome to come and join in.
Toddler Group
A meeting for the very young at 9.30 am on Wednesdays and Fridays, and a good chance for their parents, guardians or grandparents to have a relaxing chat over tea and coffee whilst the youngsters play and make new friends. All are welcome.
Carpet Bowls
No skill needed! Come and join us at 7.00 pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. We play for fun so come along and join in. Check out the action shots on our Gallery page....
Fellowship Group
We meet each Thursday evening between 7.30pm and 9pm (roughly) to share together in learning more about what it says in the Bible, God's word to us. We usually start with a prayer then we sing a few worship songs (sometimes practicing the ones we don't know very well - not always successfully!). After this we have an open discussion time on topical subjects that anyone can suggest. Then we spend time reading a passage from the Bible and talking about what it means. We finish with some time in quiet reflection and prayer.
Everyone welcome to join us, come early to get a seat!
Kidz Club
Kidz Club is for children who are between full-time nursery school age and Y6. We have games to run off any spare energy and then juice and a biscuit and some time for crafts. We start at 5.30pm and finish at 7pm and meet in the church hall at the end of the car park.
We meet fortnightly in school term time, so please get in touch to check the date of the next club.
